A series of concert dates from big names such as Katy Perry are already confirmed and of course, there are jazz events and art exhibitions happening year round.

Aside from these cultural delights, the Algarve tourist board has said that is expects more tourists wanting to get back to nature in 2011 with larger numbers of people heading to the beautiful inland areas and unspoilt coastal towns to be closer to nature and experience a taste of the real Algarve. If this sounds like your dream break, Premier Holidays recommend a villa in the Eastern Algarve countryside, where the pace of life is slow and unhurried and there is a sense of the Algarve of years gone by.

And it’s not just the big day itself which has got everyone worked up in excitement; the location they choose for their honeymoon has also had everyone guessing which destination they will pick.
The Royal couple have recently been formally invited to Portugal’s most popular tourist destination; The Algarve. The invite was issued by Turismo do Algarve, the tourist board for this region.
