THE ALGARVE: If you’re one of millions looking forward to the warmer weather of summer but also facing the reality of a credit crunch that continues to bite, new research shows that an Algarve villa holiday is your perfect summer holiday match.

Even cosmetics like sun tan lotion which tends to be more expensive in poplar holiday resorts than in supermarkets at home have shown a marked decrease in price.
